Not every gallery will get a huge story behind it. But this little family holds BIG meaning to me. Way back in 2018, when I graduated from undergrad, life threw a curveball at me. I couch surfed for a few months with some amazing people who let me in. David (who was my admissions counselor for college) became the drummer on the worship team I was a part of. After a rehearsal, I opened up to him about needing a more stable place to stay while I figured out the next steps in life. Holly (his wife) did not know me super well other than our interactions at church, agreed to allow me to stay with them for a brief time. Corbin, about 1 years old at the time very quickly became my closest little buddy and helper. During this time I purchased my first camera, and decided to take some pictures around their house. This opened a huge door for me, and I have been extremely appreciative of the grace the Lewis’ have extended to me. So now, a few years later, their family has grown and so has my passion for photography, and even more so has our relationship. Meet my God Siblings David and Holly and my niece and nephew Maya and Corbin.
